BBCET Bibimbap
Its courgette & tomatoes season.
Tomatoes especially are cheap at only RM2.50 per kg. Eating food in season is good since you can get the freshest thing at the best deal. So, I bought quite a handful (2 kg to be exact) and we had almost everything with tomatoes. For hubby and me, we enjoyed our tomatoes eaten raw, but Little Eagle rather had his cooked (if to be eaten with rice). So I ended with making some bibimbap for him. In my house, since hubby is rarely around for lunch and dinner, son and I had bibimbap almost all the time. Of course we had our own version ~ku-ku-ku~. Adding sesame oil (a must in bibimbap) adding more aroma especially on hot rice.
my version; I used baked beans to stir fry some sliced courgettes, eggs, and tomatoes (of course along with seasoning *upon desire*).
adding the stir fried vegies to a bowl of hot steam rice... and dashes of sesame oil
mix it all together... and tada~ BBCET bibimbap hohoho!!! (BBCET: Baked Beans - Courgette - Eggs - Tomatoes) ^^
omo! I just found out that some of my dried herbs had exceed its expire date days ago. Need to get new one soon or the spagetti sauce will taste weird.
